Digital ID Verification

Prove what's needed. Share nothing else.

Attest lets you prove one thing about yourself from your phone, such as being over 21, without handing over your ID. A verifier checks it in any phone browser and sees only what you chose to share.

  • Codes expire in 60 seconds
  • Works with no signal
  • Nothing stored on a server

How it works

Three steps, a few seconds, nothing handed over.

  1. 1

    Choose what to share

Pick the check you're asked for: your age, your identity or your full license. Approve it with your fingerprint or PIN.

  2. 2

    Show the code

Your phone signs a code and shows it. It lists exactly what it shares, and a new one replaces it every 60 seconds.

  3. 3

    The verifier checks

They scan it with any phone browser. They get a clear pass or fail, your photo to compare with your face, and nothing more.

Three kinds of check

Only what the moment calls for.

Each check shares a fixed set of facts. Everything else stays on your phone.

Age

A bar, a store, an age-limited venue.

Shared

  • Photo
  • Over 21: yes or no

Stays private

  • Name
  • Birth date
  • Address
  • ID number

Identity

A hotel desk, a pickup counter, a building entrance.

Shared

  • Photo
  • Name, if the check needs it
  • Issuing authority, if needed

Stays private

  • Birth date
  • Address
  • ID number

Full credential

A roadside stop, a car rental, a regulated sale.

Shared

  • Photo and name
  • Birth date and ID number
  • Class, expiry and restrictions

Stays private

  • Address, unless you turn it on

What the verifier sees

A clear answer, and a list of what they didn't get.

Attest Verify is a web page. Open it on any phone, point the camera at the code, and it answers in about a second.

  • Pass or fail, in words. Every result pairs a color with an icon and plain words, so it reads clearly in a dim room.
  • A photo to compare. The holder's photo appears next to the result, so the verifier can match the face in front of them.
  • Not shared with you. The result lists what the holder kept private, so nobody asks for more than the check allows.

Principles

Built so the safe choice is the default.

Only what's needed

Age without a birth date. Identity without an address. A full credential only when it's truly required.

You stay in control

Your phone never leaves your hand. You approve every share, and you keep a history of what you shared and when.

Signed and short-lived

Every code is signed on your device and expires in 60 seconds. A screenshot or an edited code fails.

Works offline

Your phone needs no signal to show a code. A basement bar or a roadside stop is fine.

Nothing stored

The verifier checks codes in the browser and keeps nothing on a server. There is no central log of who showed what, where.

Check with what you have

Any phone browser can check a code. No special hardware, and no app for verifiers to install.

Authentic software

Each app build is signed and shows its own fingerprint, so anyone can confirm they're running the genuine build.

Ready for any issuer

A new jurisdiction or organization is a matter of configuration, not a rebuild.

Pass Signed, fresh, photo matches
Expired Older than 60 seconds
Rejected Code was edited or copied

For issuers and regulators

Your credential, your rules, on phones people already carry.

Attest is built to work with existing issuers and designed for open standards. It suits any organization that issues credentials and needs them checked: licensing and motor-vehicle authorities, membership bodies, employers, universities and professional boards.

  • Configured, not rebuilt. Your issuer name, fields, check rules and card design live in one configuration file.
  • Works with what you issue today. Attest starts from your existing credential data, so holders don't need a new card.
  • Your keys, your registry. Verifiers check each code against a public registry you control.
  • No hardware to roll out. Verifiers use the phones they already have.
  • Privacy by design. No central record of checks is created, so there is none to secure or to leak.

Path to your jurisdiction

  1. Map your credential. List the fields you issue and which checks each one supports.
  2. Set the checks. Choose age thresholds, identity tiers and when a full credential is allowed.
  3. Publish your registry. Your keys and holder records, checked by every verifier.
  4. Brand and launch. Your name and card design on the same proven app and verifier.
